Thread: Urgent Trademark Query.

Hi,

I plan to buy a domain for about $300 and I have a query relating to trademark results that has come up during a TM search.

Let us assume the domain name is Threads.in which is planned for a social forum. In the TM Search, I see trademarks for the word 'Thread' in 7 Classes and the description of the mark relate to tailoring, pens, detergents etc... (nothing related to computers)

And another trademark 'Threads' in 2 Classes by one person relating to Garments.

Now, is it safe for me to buy this name and trademark this in Class 42 (which relates to computers)?

Also to note, No TMs are there for the word 'Thread' or 'Threads' for in Class 42.
