I read an article and was amazed to know that the Managing Director of Air Deccan was a successful sericulturist and then he moved onto airways ( Air Deccan) and has a mission of providing low cost travel to the common man.

There are many great Indian CEOs with insiring stories and my top pick is the CEO of Infosys, Mr Narayanamurthy.

Its great to hear. Also most of the CEOs are like this. If you take Mr. Narayana Murthy, founder of infosys, he insisted people to buy his shares in the early 1990's at the cost of Rs.10. he used to for door to door sales and people did not believe him and nobody bought it. But now what is the story? History repeated.

People who made it to top were those with a vision in mind and a zeal to follow and make it happen. That's why they are on top.
