Default Indian Govt launches site for NRIs

Indian government has launched a dedicated website for its annual NRI felicitation program, named Pravasiya Bhartiya Diwas. The site is Pravasi Bharatiya Divas 2009 and is made specifically made to ease up registration of NRI's coming over to the function. Nice thinking on their part.

Very interesting website - thanks for the heads up!

Unfortunate that they did not use a .in domain though

Wrote them an email about not using a .in domain - I'll let you know if I hear back...

This is a very good move by the country. These days NRI are ready to bring in the investment to our country. But the government's duty is to keep them posted about the happenings and news here. So for sure, they must need a dedicated site or a tv channel. This will help in creating a better relationship between them and the country.

Its really good to see a site dedicated to only NRIs. I think this would certainly ease the tasks of registration and make it more efficient.
