Thread: Online gadget shop for India?

As another thread pointed out India does not has many good online Buying websites, so According to me there are two big options, ebay.in and Indiatimes. Ebay is bit more insecure compared to Indiatimes, which should be preferred. Any other websites for Online Shopping.

As far as i know, people in india prefer indiatimes more than any other online shopping site. Now the number of users of ebay is increasing but people still find indiatimes more relaible.

Well I know little about Indian shopping but if what you are saying is true I imagine you could do a killing with an online gadget store providing you provide a good range of products and good service.

I have used Indiatimes myself and their service is quite good..especially the tracking system for a order..it is updated as and when any advancement takes place..highly recommended..

I have used rediff shopping a few times. Its okay.

Do you know of any indian shopping service provider who accepts payment in $$$ from Paypal account? I have some dollars and no plans to return to US.

I am not sure if any indian online shopping service would offer that. But it could be a great idea if you can crack the potential of those millions of NRIs who are always hungry to send gifts to their home and can't because of the currency exchange issue.

i guess you can withdraw to your bank account in india
