    Thanks Jeff,

We are in Scotland at the moment and have been in the UK for past 7 weeks (mainly Scottish Highlands).

Heading to Europe at the end of August for another 7 weeks then to US, Canada & Japan for 2 months.

We have a blog we a keeping at LaptopNomads.com which has some more detail and pics. Thanks for asking

Yes the domains you liked are good ones. I also like and have had some offers on in the past on these -

    solarpanel.in & solarpanels.in

    creditratings.in & creditchecks.in

    idcard.co.in & idcard.in

I am looking at developing the solar panel sites and am talking with some manufacturers at the moment. All good fun!

Thanks for your feedback and we still have to do a podcast on Indian domains and talk about the forum, just have to time it when I have a quite place with broadband internet.

Let me know when would be a good time if you are still interested.

    Regards

    Ed

Nice blog Ed - looks like a lot of work to keep up, but well worth it!

I'm not surprised that you received offers on those credit domains - they tend to be really popular.

Where are you going in Canada? Anywhere near me in Ottawa? It would be cool to meet up.

    Hi Jeff,

More than likely will be going to Ottawa so if you want to PM me your contact details and address we can hook up and have a drink and shoot the breeze about domain names

It would be great to catch up.

    Ed

WaterPurifiers.com - just sold on NameJet for $15,655. Bodes well for WaterPurifiers.in.

    Thanks Jeff,

I had not seen that one! That is a good buy for whoever bought it.

Still happy to have the Indian equivalent though as it is only targeted at the Indian market.

I was having a talk on Skype with my mate from Mumbai yesterday and he was saying to me that one of the biggest complaints Indians have who use the internet and search on Google etc is that the sites and content that is presented to them is not relevant to India and is often products and services that can only be purchased in the US.

The change is coming my friend and we are part of it!

    Have a great Sunday.

    Regards

    Ed

I agree with that Ed - in searching for domains, I spend a lot of time using Google.co.in - and most of the results are US sites, even though Google weights Indian sites higher on Google.co.in.
