    Thumbs down Directi Cheated Registrant

Today I came to know that directi secretly changed their .IN deletion period to 5 days only which means domain will get deleted 5 days after expiry.

They have not informed the customers also.

Aren't PENDING DELETE RESTORABLE and PENDING DELETE SCHEDULED FOR RELEASE periods set by INRegistry? How registrar can change it? Isn't deleting domains on the 5th day of PENDING DELETE RESTORABLE a sort of rules break?

Very disappointing news and certainly i believe its cheating, i think the immediate inference i am drawing is...dont go with directi for future registrations . .transfer all names to other friendly registars...

    Cheers
