I hadn't realised there was an application for dot Mumbai going on but just saw this:

You are right Jeff ? But we think that .mumbai is not good business module ? Still in .IN name space lot of domain names are available and even .IN yet to touch one million mark then How can we expect from .mumbai to do better ?

We at Mitsu still feel that future is .IN and basic GTLD only , all other will come and go ..........

I agree completely with you Mitsu. But I think that company might do well, as they represent many companies applying for new TLDs.

I perfectly agree with you, Mitsu. The future is .IN and the gTLD or, even better, .IN used as a gTLD (outside India), like I wrote here.

Honorable Deputy Mayor of MCGM inadvertently issued a letter to one organization which has been revoked later by Honorable Deputy Major of MCGM. It may please be noted that the official position of the City of Mumbai is communicated by Municipal Commissioner.

Efforts of one of our Inforum Member paid off, we are happy to see this.

This is the first we have heard about this and we are looking into the matter with our client, India TL Domain Pvt Ltd, to whom the original letter of appointment was issued by the Deputy Mayor of Mumbai. Once we understand what the situation is viz-a-viz India TL Domain Pvt Ltd and the City of Mumbai, we will provide an update.
