How to choose a good Domain name?

Depends what it is for, resale or for your own specific business.

For your own specific business it should preferably be relevant, the number of letters does not matter too much as a 3 word domain could be very suitable for many things and will also be cheaper.

For resale, don't fall in to the trap of buying names that you like.Check out all the forums/sales threads/wanted threads that way you are more likely to buy names that others would like and subsequently buy.

But the definitive answer as to "How to chose a good domain name?" would be the same answer as to "How long is a piece of string?"!
