    Those names have no value.

When CreditCards.com sells for millions of dollars, that means absolutely nothing to whoever owns CreditCardKangaroo.de. That's a very common misconception amongst new domainers.

With .in/co.in, once you leave the top-top-top, most definitive keywords, the values depreciate drastically.

By the time you arrive at brandables, other Indian TLDs (.net.in, .gen.in, etc) or weak keyword arrangements, the names are essentially worthless in terms of resale value.

Thank you for your response. However, as a newbie, it is really difficult to valuate/assess the true value/worth of a domain. Sometimes, a brandable, memorable name without traffic can be sold for xxxxxx to a company or business. I guess that's the risk one takes with domain buying.

Since domains are unique, it's really impossible to truly pin down a 'value'.

There are marginal names that inspire an end user to open their wallets, while there are huge, category killing domains that will never find an end user because no one in that industry will ever care enough to pay a domainers asking price to own it.

In India domains, stick to buying names that clearly define something, without getting "creative". There's too much good stuff still sitting out there unregistered to be registering crap.

Thank you again for such insightful information. I also have 'value' commercial .in domains that I thought would sell like 'hotcakes' e.g health, insurance, telecommunications industry, however, I have only had bankinsurance.in (152 visits) to be promising. There was another post about selling domains to end-users who would be interested in buying their own industry (commercial names). Have you gone that route and did you meet with success?
