Thread: .IN Registry's Great Humanitarian Gesture

Today .IN registry shown a great humanitarian gesture for Japanese registrants of .In domain name.

.IN registry declared that :

"As you know, the recent disasters in Japan have left many registrants without the ability to renew their domain names.

To protect these registrants from losing their names, the registry plans to waive the renewal fee for one year for all names that expire(d) in the March 11 – April 30, 2011 period. This will affect only domain names where the registrant country address is Japan."

This is really a great gesture from .In registry and we hope that all other registry should follow this.

PS: All Japanese Registrant domains we are checking and we at Mitsu taking care that their domains are not get deleted, if any of the registrant is contactable then you may contact Mitsu anytime with domains details. Mitsu is currently the only .IN registrar who declare this publicly (Displayed on our website) as we care.
