English in India
Hi, I came across this Wikipedia article stating that "only" 90 million Indians can be considered English speakers.
This surprised me a bit. Any local insight on this? It seems most major media use English, or maybe I am wrong?
And are domains in regional languages popular?
PS: Sorry about the misspelling in the headline. Cannot edit it...Last edited by Ceres; 01-13-2010 at 05:31 PM. Reason: Fixed title.
