Re: Bido
As I said before, Bido is a great place to buy domains, it is a crap place to sell them.
I just picked up a one word .com related to a passion of mine for mid $xx and a few others reasonable names for low $xx - I would have been very pissed if I was selling any of them.

Re: Bido
I agree with wot.
What I'm wondering is - why doesn't that change? I mean, surely buyers should flock there to grab deals, pushing up prices...
Same with NameJet - prices there are overly inflated - why does that persist?

Re: Bido
Seems to me that bido is attracting resellers looking for deals but not developers or end users...yet

Re: Bido
The change, as wot mentioned, is unlikely in the near future, I guess. While the number or names for auctions have been increasing in the recent past, may be there are many more in the pipeline!
In my perspective, the reason why .in and .co.in prices are low and why the auction submissions are increasing is because:
1) .in and .co.in are no doubt gaining momentum but are still only on the runway for sure and haven't taken off - yet. After all, it is only just over 4 years since .in and .co.in names were open for public registrations!
.IN DOMAIN REACHES 100,000 REGISTRATIONS IN 90 DAYS
2) possibly, many have hit or are about to hit their threshold limit of holding on to all their names. Yet, among them, there could be a few who may still be busy adding more to their portfolio (the ones I am referring to in point 3). And hey, they could, in a way, be the 'Flippers' as mentioned by mwzd.
3) when there are too many people selling some of their names, (some do make some quick bucks) to hold on to the rest of the name which they perceive as the 'High Value' names, the submissions (read 'supply') at auctions shoots up, resulting in low prices.
I hold many names myself. I will become a seller one day. Having said that, like many out here, I have great regards to the buyers. But for them, the re-seller market simply wouldn't exist!
In the final analysis, by and large, it is the market forces like anywhere else, that determines the prices. The exceptions are few and far between.
Possibly the .com guys too went through a similar phase. Those who have been around during the late 90s and early 2000 (1997 - 2002) could have great things to share.
The above are my opinions. I am always open to have others' perspectives too.Send Flowers & Gifts for your loved ones. Gulaab.Com
