Thread: I'll Be Chatting About Indian Domains on Bido

On Friday at 1 pm EST (10.30 pm IST) Bido will be holding its first ever Indian Domain Auction - the domain is Success.co.in

The event is sponsored by INForum, and Bido has kindly skinned their website to match ours for the day.

In addition, I'll be in the chat room and we'll be discussing Indian domains and whatever else people are interested in.

It would be really great if a lot of forum members joined me in the chat room at that time. The chats are always fun and educational.

it seem like the bid not that high yet Jeff, but give it as a hope ... good luck to the seller and the bidders. By the way as I can see it seem like .IN getting HOT on some sales back a bit in the market lately .. so let's put our $$$ invest it once again. hehe

I'm in Hawaii so I woulda have had to be up earrrrly to catch the auction, sorry I missed the chat! I think today was just the first of many co.in domains to be featured on Bido, despite today's middling results, people love the extension.
It would be very cool if there was 2 auctions a day on Bido, a .COM auction and a cctld auction, or at least weekend auctions :-)

I think Bido was happy with the result and we will see more Indian domains auctioned off.

Hopefully, the next one will be a .in rather than a .co.in.

I couldn't attend the chat, but read the transcript. Its interesting to see so many people joining in and really got to know some interesting facts about domaining too ;-).

yes..having .IN domain auctions here is a good idea as well..all we need is a good escrow provider..

I once started a thread to see if there was interest in this, but not many people seem interested. I'd be happy to do this if there is enough interest.
