Thread: What are firm.in, gen.in?

Not much help on the net about these domains. Any ideas about what they mean and intended purpose? Any thoughts on the potential?

I haven't really seen many aftermarket sales in these third level extensions. A few top keywords likely have some value for SEO purposes, but otherwise, save your time and money.

I agree with Jeff, its better to wait for some time. The demand will increase in a year or two.

Yes, But requires a lot of SEO skills to rank them.

But then, they are not very 'brandable'.

third level .IN market is not that great if you ask me..the secondary market especially has no trace of third level .IN's..with maybe the exception of .CO.IN..
