Thanks Thomas. I notice the auction has just been cancelled - see here. Perhaps the bidder backed out? As it's a good domain, it's probably just a matter of time before another potential buyer is found.

Now the question is... will the owner try to profit from the Michael Jackson name or set-up a non-commercial fan site?

I find that most of the sales as of date have been relatively short 1 or 2 word names. With 3-Word names like LastMinuteTravel.In and SkinCareProducts.In being sold for between US $ 1550 and US $ 500 respectively, one can expect more of 2 and 3-Word names being sold.

The Indian economy is busy bouncing back to normalcy and businesses are eagerly looking forward to a promising 2010. This could augur well for more .in name sales.
