Re: Complete List of Indian Domain Name Sales
Thanks Ace!
Looks like a bit of a bidding war broke out on that one.

Re: Complete List of Indian Domain Name Sales
the price seems justified if you look at the potential of the name..

Re: Complete List of Indian Domain Name Sales
The sale price of PLR.in has become public - $3,400 at Sedo.
AdultFriendFinder.in sold for $1,610 at Sedo.
IndiaGov.in sold for $1,000 at Sedo.
All of the above is via DNJournal.
All in all a very strong week for .in domains!

Re: Complete List of Indian Domain Name Sales
I just checked the url to try and figure out who bought the domain.

Previously I had questioned whether RedTube.com could win RedTube.in in an INDRP case (as although their trademark is based in the US, they are obviously well-known in India - RedTube.com ranks 188 in India on Alexa).
Anyhow, I'm just thinking (I know it's dangerous) but since this is an adult-related domain, would the tribunal actually have done anything to help, as porn is illegal in India?

Re: Complete List of Indian Domain Name Sales
Actually, that's a good point that I hadn't thought about. It's probably not a wise thing to take an adult domain to an INDRP.
