Domaintools live auction has listed one indian domain in its live-auction at domainroundtable.lets see how that goes.last time poker.in was sold for 60,000 on the same conference.

Thanks for the heads up dotin! I hadn't noticed this.

Com.co.in is on auction - somewhat surprisingly to me, as I didn't know you were permitted to register this one.

Reserve is $7,500 and the auction description says:

"45000 visits per month. Domain includes website also which has more than 600 members and has a Pagerank 1. Highest ovt results on the list. Co.in cctld of India which has a population of more than 1 billion people and has rapidly growing internet users."

A great domain at a great price - hope that there is some serious bidding on this!

Damn - thats a bargain!

If someone does that pick that up for $7,500 it will be a great buy.

I've taken the time to look over the auction listing in detail and there are a lot of other bargains there. Lots of junk names but for the quality domains, its the fairest set of auction prices I've seen in a long time. I suspect the better domains may sell for a lot more than the reserves.

Yes, at reserve it's a steal. I hope the "big boys" at the auction don't miss out on this one. An excellent sale at a prominent auction will go far to promote the IN space.

DomainTools has had a string of auction failures recently, so it seems to me that they are going all out on this auction. Good to see that.

Looks like nothing was sold.many complain there were no bidders this time .lets see if it sells in extended auctions.

People are underestimating indian domain values i guess.

Yes, the auction seems to have gone really badly overall. Sales of $400,000 versus last year's $3.8 Million.
