Exclamation June 2008: SELL OR HOLD .IN DOMAINS

Hi there! I am new here and I am glad to find a place to discuss .in!!!

My question is: hold for now or sell .in?? I own some one-word domains which are very - very interesting for solid business.... Had also interesting offers for sale, but honestly - I feel that I can get much more - maybe I am getting too greedy...

So, what do you think? What is your experience?

Hi netstar and welcome to INF!

I'd say hold, unless you get an offer you just can't refuse.

The Indian domain market is just starting to take off. In a year or two, Indian domains should be worth substantially more.

Also, if you do get interesting offers that aren't quite high enough, you can always counter with a really high offer and see the reaction you get.

I 2nd Jeff's opinion. We are seeing a not-so-slow creep in prices of NNN, LLL and top-shelf generics.

This market is still very much in it's infancy and there is little sign of the .Indian domain market becoming derailed.
My company has secured funding for 10 years of renewals of our NNN and LLL portfolio.

Patience is still a valuable virtue.
