Did you mean "kushi" - happiness? shouldn't that read as "khushi" or is that a typo in you list?

udhar - as "there" ? or udhaar - as "loan"?

nothing from the selling point of view but these can be developed.

I agree with Chandan - Hindi domains haven't done too well so far.

Are there any rules for this? I see both forms used a lot, not just here, but in the transliterations of many Hindi words.

There are no set rules though. Its just that Hindi words are written the way it is actually pronounced unlike english words.

for e.g - kushi - in hindi it doesn't mean anything. you can interpret and make out what the person is trying to tell though. but if you write that back in hindi it will be incorrect grammer.

another thing is that "kushi" is pronounced/written by people who speak/write broken hindi - sorry, please don't take any offence here.

for e.g - cake - "c" on its own pronounced differently as compared to when its used in a word. I think this is the reason why english kids are being taught to pronounce "a" , "b"... as "aa" , "ba"... (phonics) and not "a" "b" anymore.
