Re: JewelleryDesigns.in - Please Appraise
Just so you know for the future, we don't allow appraisals for domains with proxy registration.
I think that this is a great registration. It's a solid commercial term, lots of search volume and results, many ads with good CPC.
I'd say that this is worth high $xx reseller.

Re: JewelleryDesigns.in - Please Appraise
Jeff,
Once again, thanks for your comments.
I am not sure what you mean by "proxy registration". I have been recently registering my domains with "Privacy" at the recommendation of another Domainer. Is this what you mean? Why is that a problem?
BTW, what do you use to determine "lots of search volume and results, many ads with good CPC."? I have been using the Google AdSense External Keyword Tool (with settings of "India" and "Exact Match") to determine search volumes for India related keywords. I am not sure how to find out how "many ads" and "good CPC".

Re: JewelleryDesigns.in - Please Appraise
Proxy registration - same thing as privacy.
The relevance to appraisals is that generally people only want to appraise domains that are owned by the person requesting the appraisal. It's not really fair and it's a bit of a waste of time to appraise names owned by someone else. With privacy, it's not possible to tell who owns the domain.
Regarding privacy in general, you'll get as many opinions as there are domainers. I don't like it because a crooked registrar can use it to steal your domains. This is because the domain is actually not in your name - it's in the privacy service's name. There was a case of one registrar who did take advantage of this and steal domains - Registerfly.
If you are looking for privacy, you can normally get a DBA ("doing business as" name) pretty cheaply. Then you can also rent a post office box, and use the dba and post office box as the contact information on your domains. Over many domains it's actually cheaper than paying for privacy, plus it avoids the issue of the domains being in someone else's name.
I'm using the Google AdSense External Keyword Tool also, and you're using the correct settings.
Just above the results there is a heading "Choose columns to display" and you can use that to display additional information such as CPC. As for ads, that's just from doing a search on Google.co.in and looking how many ads show up.

Re: JewelleryDesigns.in - Please Appraise
Jeff,
What can I say?! You are a wealth of information and good advice. Thanks so much for sharing.
I will take into consideration your comments about privacy registration. The other reason I chose to go that route recently, was that I once got a phone call from some noob who checked the WhoIs on one of my domains. He wanted/needed hand holding (including how to use Windows!). Thankfully he only bugged me a few times, but it could easily have gotten out of hand.

Re: JewelleryDesigns.in - Please Appraise
No problem, happy to help!
Yes, I've had weirder things than that happen, including people showing up at the door wanting a domain.
You can get a separate phone number that automatically goes to voice mail and use that for your domains. I have a land line with call display that I never answer, and I use that for domains, etc., and then I have a cell phone number for people who need to reach me easily.

Re: JewelleryDesigns.in - Please Appraise
I don't think they were willing to pay for it - they just wanted me to give it to them...
