If your site is in english, then adsense is by far the best in my opinion.They give you around 79% (rumored} of the advertisers paid money.That is the highest rate on the market right now.

Yes, adsense works well, and that's what I usually use. However, it's scary to be so dependant on Google, and it's good to have other options.
