This means that the domain has expired but the owner has about 40 days to renew it.

After that 40 days, theres another 10 day period before the name becomes available to register again.

I still don't understand it , the WHOIS result show that the domain will expire on 11-Dec-2010.

Still have two years before the expiry date.

But the domain status is PENDING DELETE RESTORABLE.

why?

The simple answer ... Whois information from the Indian Registry is a mess.

Unless you're getting data direct from the registrar, its often a guessing game as to which names drop when. I simply run my domain script every day.

np - count forward about 50 days from December 11th and you'll have an approximate drop date.
