I agree with both sides of the argument.

I think it is important to speak the national language to hold on to the heritage of India but it is also very smart to have English as the International language for business.

I think having both is far better for India than just one or the other.

In my experience all of my Indian freinds are very inteligent people and being able to speak several languages is not uncommon.

Why should they limit themselves to just one.
